Legislative Citation recognizing Academy's twenty-year journey

 Representative Jim Colver and Senator Bill Stoltze presented Academy Charter School and Principal Barbara Gerard with a Legislative Citation recognizing Academy's twenty-year journey in which the school evolved into a cutting edge, top-notch public school with a beautiful campus that houses 244 students in grades K-8. Representative Colver reminisced about the Academy staff and parents, the can-do attitude and never giving up regardless of the barriers and challenges that the team faced. He recognized the power of the shared passion of the Academy community and the strong bond that develops when staff and parents work side by side to create a school like Academy Charter School! Well done team!
