• A Message About Remote Learning Day:

During a remote work day, students need to log into their classes and respond to any feedback from their teachers, as well as open up their school email for messages from their teachers.  They are also free to email teachers during regular school hours.  Teachers might also reach out to update you on your student’s progress.  Again, students can make great progress in most of their classes, especially math, when they are at home.  And while teachers will make the necessary adjustments to their classes, nothing will help students end the semester successfully more than hard work and motivation.  Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Below is a remote schedule for Summit students:

    1st period: 8:30 - 9:00

    2nd period: 9:10 - 9:40

    3rd period: 9:50 - 10:20

    4th period: 10:30 - 11:00

Teachers will email you and your student the Zoom link or Google Meets link for their individual class by 8:00 am.  It is critical that students check in to each class as teachers will update them on critical due dates, provide academic support, and give them a chance to take a PFA.  We are also aware that many other schools are doing Zoom sessions, many of which are in the afternoon, so we will wrap ours up by 11:00.

ABLE students need to log into their Academic Strategies class, set their goals for the day, and make progress in one to two classes. Students should also refer to their email for specific instructions from their teachers.  Since all ABLE students have individualized learning plans, they will NOT have scheduled Zoom meetings on remote days.

    Thanks,
