    Knik Charter School's Academic Policy Committee is comprised of a total of 9 members with 7 voting members. The principal, under contract to the school, is an ex officio member and abstains from voting. The student government may annually select one student member to also serve as a non-voting member. Of the 7 voting members, 4 are appointed by the Knik Tribal Council, with no more than 1 appointee being a council member. The remaining 3 members include at least 1 staff member and 1 parent selected by a vote of the parents of students enrolled at the school.
