WHAT TITLE ONE MEANS TO TANAINA ELEMENTARY

Title I is an opportunity to give students the extra boost they need as they reach for success in learning and in life. With the funds we receive, we bring in extra caring hands to guide, cheer on and encourage your children.  With over 400 students enrolled, we also have 400 various and unique learning styles.  It is our jobs to reach each of our students and help them gain the confidence they need to be successful contributing members of the community.

Title I allows us to provide opportunities for parents to get involved in their child's education may it be through one of our many family nights, conferences or meetings.  We know that parents are their child's first teacher and we want to help parents acquire the tools and confidence needed to assist their child in their learning years.
