    Welcome! I look forward to working with students and families at the MSMCS this year!  I welcome input and suggestions from you at any time.  Feel free to use the e-mail link above to keep in touch with me throughout the year. My office hours are 7:30am-3:00pm Monday-Friday.

    MSMCS Counseling Vision Statement:

    The MSMCS School Counseling department, in collaboration with other educators, parents/ guardians, and community members, is guided by a commitment to advocate for all students to access an equitable, appropriately challenging educational program in a supportive dual enrollment environment that recognizes the unique contributions of each learner. Through participation in the school counseling program, all students will possess the academic, personal and career-readiness skills to make informed decisions leading to healthy and fulfilling lives in high school and beyond.

     

    MSMCS Counseling Mission Statement:

     The mission of the MSMCS School Counseling Department is to provide a comprehensive school counseling program that supports individual student growth in academic, personal/social and career exploration skills through core curriculum and group and individual advisement leading to academic achievement, college and career readiness, and self-awareness and management. MSMCS Counseling utilizes this comprehensive program to inspire all students to be self-directed individuals who realize their potential, engage in lifelong learning and become empathetic leaders who positively impact their communities.
