Curriculum Council

  • Purpose

    The Curriculum Council will recommend policy on the instructional programs of the Mat-Su Borough School District while overseeing the ongoing development and implementation of curriculum. In order to provide quality education with a model of excellence in teaching, learning, and engaging all students, the Council shall recommend curriculum which aligns with state and national standards, for approval by the Mat-Su Borough School Board.

    Mission

    The Mission of the Curriculum Council is to support a guaranteed and viable curriculum for all students through a comprehensive curriculum review cycle so that students are demonstrating continual academic growth as evidenced by achievement data.
