  • The State of Alaska, Foundation Program is the largest source of revenue for MSBSD. Funding is determined by average daily membership during a 20-day count that ends the fourth Friday of October.     How do I read account codes?

    To help you understand how to read an account code we are providing a copy of the State of Alaska Descriptive Chart of Accounts. The State account code is made up of five separate elements: fund, location, function, program, object. Each segment is three digits long. Detailed descriptions of each element are included in the document. If you have questions or would like further assistance please contact the Budget Department Staff at (907) 746-9248.

    Additional Positions/Pay

    Wanting to increase the hours of an existing position? Adding days to an existing contract? Requesting a new position?

    This form, Additional Position/Pay Requests, attached below, assists in the calculation of Increased Hours, Increased Days (extended day contracts), Additional Pay for Services (Stipends), and New Positions.

    After identifying the cost and the funding source for the Increased Hours, Increased Days, Additional Pay for Services (Stipends), or New Position this form will need to be completely filled out and submitted to your evaluator for approval.
